I have never given my email out to any online source, i don't know how they got it in the first place, but the spammer's address is different everytime so I can't just add them to my block list.

Just use the "report as spam" button, and make sure you're using the Bulk-Email folder. Over time, this helps Yahoo's spam filter to be better "trained" and less spam will get to your Inbox.

What I would do, is write down the addresses of all the junk that gets through the filter, and report it to yahoo. I would then continue to treat it like regular spam. Let me tell you something here though... I got a myspace account for 3 months and regreted it, because I used a different name. A name I only used on myspace, and it would display my myspace name on all the spam. I used the "REPORT AND DELETE" button for about six months, and I deleted my account from myspace, and it went away for good. Some did come back, but eventually it went away for good, so get rid of anything like that. You won't like this but NO ONLINE SHOPPING either. It is one of the best things you can do!

The scammers have sophisticated software they can use so many combinations that it will finally hit on your address.

I never ever get spam. I have converted my email address to Javascript. when I took out a new address. That way you can use it safely on the Web. and spammers can not ID it with ordinary numbers and letter combinations Go to Http://www.u.arizona.edu/~trw/spam/ and use the free website conversion.

You can also convert to HTML. Use this website for the coded HTML leters and numbers. www.alanwood.net/demos/ansi.html

Seperate each HTML character by a ( ; ) semicolon and preface each character by &#

Thus if y our address starts with the letter "p" the conversion would look like this p&#....... and continue on with the entire address converted from letters, numbers to HTML. Then use that in signing up.

Flag the messages as spam when you see them. Yahoo continually upgrades its spam filter, so eventually the particular spams will go into the bulk mail bin.
