Why do the dem's want it both ways. They say the planet is getting warmer... if that is true the cost to heat your house would go down. That would help out the poor. So why are they complaining so much?

The point is that unlike Santa Claus the existence of global warming is not up for debate. All scientist now say it is a fact and the fact that the Bush administration tried to doctor the evidence does not change the evidence.
Yes the cost of heat will go down and water on the coast lines will rise, and species of animals would die and our weather will become much worse and all kinds of other disasters
If you want to argue a Conservative or Liberal approach to dealing with global warming that is one thing but to deny it is happening is just plain foolishness

I live in a 3 bedroom with all pretty large rooms and electric is the best way to go. I pay $81.00 a month and that includes, of course, lights, stove and frig and heat. You would probably pay much less since it is a smaller space. Good Luck to you.

Actually the cost to heat a home is down, largely on volume, but it's not a perfect correlation in the US because heating fuels (natural gas, propane, heating oil, electricity) are used for other purposes.
Also you need to consider peaking power needs for A/C.
