A granum is a stack of thylakoid disks within the gelatinous stroma of the chloropast.

The light-dependent reactions happen in the thylakoid membranes of the grana. The Calvin Cycle happens in the stroma.

Na, it ain't that weird, I mean it is a little, when ya think about the concept, but sometimes people strike up a pretty good friendship. As long as there no freako's or weirdies, it's all good.
