It would decide on the ground used.
The English won at Agincourt for a number of different reasons...
...the ground was extremely boggy, Knights, horses and infantry found it difficult to move. The Knights wanted booty, and charged at the wrong time. The enemy (the French), were 'funnelled' into a very effective 'killing zone'.
Only when all this matters taken into consideration, did the English have defeated the French so marvellously! I'm English.

As regards the main point of your Q, I'd very much like to see it being demonstrated!
Although saying that, with the archers being the 'enemy', would the Yanks shoot in the correct direction...!!!!

Self respecting American?? Now thats a great Oxymoron.

Would i agree yes probably seeing as how
Henry V and a small English army defeated the French at Agincourt, 24th Oct 1415, St Crispins day
French forces. about 20,00. English forces, about 5,000
At the end of the battle the french had lost in excess of 6,000. The English casualty list was between 100-250
All down to the English Longbowmen.

So they probably could defeat the marines as well.
Actually i think if annoyed enough i could defeat the marines.
