how do i get all the songs off my ipod?

Delete all the songs from iTunes that you have on there and connect your iPod to you computer to let it update, and it should take them all off. If not, read the instructions on how to restart the thing so it's like you never had anything on it.

open iTunes
on the left it will say (whoevers)iPod or whatever u named it
click the first song on ur iPod so its blue
scroll all the way down to the bottom
hold shift and click the last song on the list
you now have all the songs highlighted in blue
click the blue and say delete (or clear)

Plug the iPod to the computer and when it comes up in iTunes, click on the picture of your iPod and go 2 music and click the sync button

I'm not sure, because I own a MP3 player, but I'm pretty sure I-Pods work the same way.

Connect it to the computer, and find it in My Computer. Double click on it and you'll see all your songs. Click and highlight the ones you don't want, and simply press the delete button.

first, connect the USB cord into the ipod and your computer.

second, open your itunes window

third, you;ll see your library, and check the songs you want deleted, and click delete.

click the little box at the side of the song ,,click em all or go to fle and select alll then select delete all

Just hit "restore factory settings." This will erase everything off of your ipod.
