No. There is a lot of sensitive equipment on a plane that could be affected by the transmissions of a mobile. Best wait until you touch down as far as I am concerned.

I hate it when people use there mobile near me like in a resturant or plane etc. I always feel as if I'm intruding, I hate listening to other peoples conversations on cell phones!!!!

NO!!!!!!!!! its rude. like everyone wants to hear about your bleeding boyfriend dumping you for some leggy tart- who cares. its the same for trains, restaurants, buses and god help the next person who walks up to my till in work while talking on the phone, i'll rip their bloody head off!!! if someone expects me to serve them while they knob on about some crap to some tart, i just don't scan any of their items until they put the phone down!

so in conclusion..... no sodding way!
