did you marry "Adrian Monk" or what. Some things Ican see. If he wanted to shower first or brush his teeth so he was right for you but damn the toilet gets more of his attention than you. Call a phychiatrist asap cause it sounds like ocd. If you love him and want to work it out stay and work through it, if not run and run fast.

That's definitely not normal. It sounds like he might have obsessive compulsive disorder. Both my parents have it!! lol. It's basically caused by a lot of anxiety and constant worry. They do all sorts of things like washing hands because they're extremely scared of germs, having to check locked doors and windows a certain amount of times before they can relax (this number can reach upto in the 100's), things always have to be put back into the right place, etc. If they're routine gets messed up they become really angry, worried and freak out. Just look into the disorder a little bit more and see if he has the same symptoms. If he doesn't, I would be thinking about leaving him.

Are you the one with the husband who watches MASH and woodwork shows? Anyway, you know what you are asking it could be that you two just need to sit and talk to one another, without the television on. Tell him how you feel. Men need attention too, not just women. So, if you want to feel appreciated, then appreciate him back for the things he does like going to work each day, putting gas in the car, etc....the things he does for you. Thank him for it! I am sure he will see that you appreciate him, then he will do more things with you and for you....he will learn to appreciate you too.
Otherwise, do read these two books that can be helpful to you and your husband called, "The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands" and "The Proper Care and Feeding of Marriage". You cannot go wrong with these two great books! (smile)
I don't think he has mental issues, I just think that you are needing his attention, but if he is not giving it to you, then get his attention by doing what I said on your earlier question.....if you treat him like a King, he will treat you like a Queen!

are you sure he is not avoiding you for other issues. It may be more than having a clean house. How is the rest of your relationship?
Because even if I do all that before the sex, I still have enough energy for the sex.

After reading several of your posts, sounds like you are the one with the mental issues. Maybe the problem is that you are a slob. Men generally are not attracted to lazy *** slobs. Clean up your act girl and maybe you will get some.

Definatly he has a problem.
He couid either avoiding sex, or has control issues or has something call obcessive complulisve disorder. aka OCD
Does he have this behavior in other parts of his life? Rituals he needs to do before starting the car? Routiens of washing or other things he does in life?
Check with your doctor, even if he doesn't go, you go and talk to your doctor

Yeah, he has control issues big time, and maybe even some kind of OCD issue as well. See if you can convince him to seek therapy. Good luck.

Is the M*A*S*H rerun over yet?
I think YOU have mental issues if things got to this point before you began questioning the mental health of your spouse.....
