I built my first computer by etching the PC board in my bathtub the hand drilling and soldering all the components in. It had 1024 bits of memory. My first commercial computer purchase was a Radio Shack "Super" TRS-80 which boasted the princely sum of 16 Kb. It didn't even have a floppy drive, it used a cassette tape for magnetic storage.

Yep ... was around 1997.
I remember my first Pentium PC .... I had 16MB of RAM & was the envy of everyone.
Ram modules cost about $45 per MB back then (1994).
Anyone remember this :
ROM BASIC 32K ?

some of us remember the 8 bit days when 64Kb was a lot and only a floppy disk held more than 1 meg!

i remeember whem a apple II + used a monitor that today would be considered a 5 inch tv screen.
and there werent hard drives you had to use tape machine or a flopy disk
