Think of it this way. Many soldiers go to war and fight for our country. Most may not be able to contact their loved ones accept on few occasions. Those that return come home for a reason, something special that kept them alive during difficult times. Many soldiers that lived through the world wars survived with a simple photograph of their family tagged to their war helmets. Could it be your husband is busy protecting himself for that reason, to come home to you, who is in his heart? Protecting all of us and remaining in contact is no easy task. Yes, be worried for him, as we all should be, but believe in him to return too. Thank him for us too.
Best wishes and good luck.

Are you nervous in a good way or a bad way?
If your relationship is solid you should relax and look forward to his return. If your relationship is rocky than I think it's normal to be worried.
Don't let the worry overwhelm you. Talk to him. Now and when he's back. He IS coming back to you, so I would imagine that is where he wants to be and who he wants to be with.
He has done his country a great service, so whatever happens, treat him with the respect that is due to him.

Unless he plans on shooting you why should you be nervous? Have you never talked to him during this time?
Hopefully you have both behaved yourselves while separated and will spend the next week having sex 10 times a day. I am a little envious of the anticipation.....

Why should you be nervous... Be excited and happy about it and throw your wonderful husband a welcome home party when he walks through that door. Jump all over him and love on him:) I am so glad that he will be coming home safe to you.

only if he has been in combat, then he might be prone to flashbacks. just be supportive, he will need that.
