That's an insane statement.
Are some dogs treated better than some humans? Absolutely. I guarantee you that Oprah's dogs are treated far better than the homeless guy who "lives" in the neighborhood.
Are plenty of dogs treated worse than most people? Absolutely. There are countless neglected, abused, and abandoned dogs. Just do a google search for some pretty lurid reports of breeding "shops" and the conditions thereof....
There are a lot of people in the U.S. who are treated like dirt, and a lot of animals also treated like dirt. And there are a lot who are treated much much better than any dirt I've ever heard of.

In my opinion yes lots of people treat there dogs better than some of their on family members.
In some cases the person will refure to their dogs as their childern.
Here in the good ole USA dog can become part of the family and be call part of the children.
I know this because I know someone whom refures to her to small dogs as her boys.
Now to her her talk you would think she was talking about two children tath are boys.
So yes some dogs are treated better than humans.

Because Americans are fooled by "DOG FOOD INDUSTRIES" to think that dogs are part of our families. So we can also raise dogs and buy "SPECIAL" food called DOG FOOD for ever.

for the most part, we who keep animals love & treasure them on a par with our children & certainly more than our spouses/partners. rightly so. since we imposed our home on the animal, we have a right & duty to ensure it's best welfare. as for people, they aren't my problem. let them thrive or starve according to their own choices.
