The planet will carry on quite happily for the next 5 billion years until the Sun expands. There will be life and new life as species evolve. Humans are not likely to last the distance and we could kill ourselves off quickly. It would be of no concern to the planet at all and the bodies would become fertiliser. We could see the end of humanity but we won't see the end of the world.
Even if an asteroid were to crash onto the planet and kill 99.9% of the species including all the mammals there would still be life that would evolve new forms.
