Valentine's Day is coming up and I always make homemade Valentine cards. This year I don't really seem as into it, but I still want to make them for my kids and husband. So I need some cute idea's they will like.

My son is 3, daughter is 1 (she won't notice).

(I also like idea's that involve the kids making cards for other people.)

What I have my boys do ( I have a 6 year old and a 4 year old) is to color on a coffee filter with markers. Then when they are done I spritz it with water. It makes a 'tie-die' effect. Then I take red or pink cardstock fold it in half. Then on the front I cut a heart out, then on the inside I glue the colored coffee filter in it. Makes a cute homemade card. And the boys love to use the markers and color on something other than paper.

Another thing that we did today was to make a valentine wreath. I took and cut the center out of a paper plate, let the boys paint it red (or they could color it with crayons or markers) Then I cut out different color and sized hearts and have them glue it on to the paper plate. Then thread red yarn or string and hang them on the door or wall.

When I'm Googling and see cards I like, I save a copy to use for my own cards. If you have a heart template use both the positive and negative that you cut, in other words, use the heart and the paper you cut it from. Make hearts in a rainbow of colors.

u can purely provide him a letter, expressing ur emotions. and as maximum folk do no longer understand emotions are as obscure as love, u haven't any clarification for them. write all what's in ur coronary heart and don't seek for any lavishing words...yet purely ur emotions!
