They're just building up a society of unnaturally intro/extroverted children that think work should be avoided at all costs. I'm in year7 and i just was quiet and thought about the world and suburbia and all that and i just found it really sadistic of the schools to do this? Both my Mum and my Dad enjoy their work, but when i was 9 years old and they told me this, i remember laughing out loud at the concept of work being enjoyable! School work has nearly nil/TOTALLY nil to do with real life work!

The words, 'Character' 'Tact.' 'be yourself' all crop up and seem to come to the same conclusion; OBEDIENCE! If thats what i am as a character, i wan't nothing to do with it! And 'Tact.' Means Tactful, meaning the opposite to clumsy, how does THAT have anything to do with obedience?

We have no enemy but ourselves to fight, so push each other down the chain or ladder to popularity (as i mentioned in an earlier question) simply because we can't be bothered to work!

Whats the real point?

i could not agree more! my school always discouraged us from going straight into a job! i was encouraged to go to college and then at college they push you into going to uni too. its the same at what ever level you are studying and its all for the wrong reasons. if you do well at school then get into college. the school gets a good reputation for high achievers, the college gets a handsom some of money for each student who enrols and it carrys on into uni too.
the government puts more into educations so the schools will cause this chain of events to carry on for more cash

do what you want to do in life. if you want a good job instead of more college do that its your life and you have no obligation to your school to carry on after you have finished

The point is, that when you become an adult, your view of the world will change. Most of the work that you will do will be for the benefit of other people; your kids, your friends, your boss. As such, it becomes much less important to you whether or not you enjoy it, because it's simply something that needs to be done. Even fun jobs have days that aren't fun. The school is teaching you how to work through those days anyway. Obedience is important in moderation; knowing when to lead and when to follow is an important skill that can get you far in life. Tact is how you approach others, with an eye towards how you'll affect them; it's also a valuable skill.

There's a massive shift in perspective that happens when you finally become an adult (although some people never do grow up). It's hard to understand until you get there, but that's what the school is trying to prepare you for. For now, just bide your time and enjoy it. School is way easier than some other parts of life, and you still have College to look forward to, which is insanely fun.

Is English your first language? Your question looks like a clumsy translation from another language.
