Why is my grandmother picking favorites?

My brother had a car wreck a few months ago. My grandmother sent him $300 & told him it was to go towards Christmas, his birthday & the wreck. I also had a wreck at the end of December, & my birthday was in January. My grandmother only sent me $150 for Christmas, birthday & my wreck. Does she thinks I don't need as much help since I have a job? If anything I need more! I have bills to pay & my brother doesn't have to pay for anything! Why is she picking favorites like this?
