Ok- Please read carefully.... I didn't ask what you thought of him. I didn't ask for derogatory comments. I asked a simple question on where he stood on a particular issue. God, direct your harsh anger elsewhere! May I suggest yoga?

The blog below reviews where he stands on a bunch of issues. It was on the main page, but you might have to search for Issues on there. I saw it on there yesterday.

Barack is for Civil Unions. He is close friends with some gays from when he was in college. He doesn't hold any negative beliefs against the LGBT community.

Some people say he doesn't have enough experience - he is too green.

Maybe that is what we need in the Whitehouse - someone who hasn't learned all the dirty tricks, the news spin, and who hasn't been there long enough to have picked up the "ways of the government".

For years, we have put into the Whitehouse people who have had so much practice on how to ignore what the people want, and do what is best for them.

So far, I think he is, by far, the most honest, sincere, person running for President in the last 40 years or so. The American public SHOULD vote for Barack Obama, instead of the imbeciles that have been voted in recently. But, the American public will be fooled into voting for someone else because the others will lie, cheat and steal to gain office. Barack isn't like that.

A friend who is anti-gay passed along this quote from an unverified source:

"I agree marriage should be defined as the union between one man and one woman, as it is under Illinois state law. However, while I oppose gay marriage, I am not convinced it is necessary to take the extraordinary step of amending the United States Constitution to prevent it." He concedes that the marriage debate is "important to many Illinoisans," yet FRC uncovered a letter Obama sent to Chicago's homosexual activists in 2004 stating, "I opposed the Defense of Marriage Act in 1996. It should be repealed... When Congress passed DOMA, they were not interested in strengthening family values... [but] perpetuating division."

He has my vote. My reasoning exactly.
