under $10: A card with some sweets
$10 - $20: A deck of Yugio Cards and some candy (my boyfriends little cousin loves Yugio and he's 10)
$20 - $30: A game (You can buy Playstation2 games for $20 at BestBuy in the Greatest Hits Collection) and candy (kids like candy)
$30 - $40: A game and a DVD... and candy lol

A friendly card appropriate for a preteen boy (ask the cardseller if your not sure), and a box of chocolates with a Snoopy or Garfield ornament attached.
You might also find him a book about a preteen or early teenaged boy facing Valentine's Day. Check out Amazon.com or your Barnes & Noble store or BN.com.
