They forecast rain, and it's sunny. They forecast sun and it's flooding. BEsides Catastrophic Tornados or hurricanes, what exactly is the purpose of WEather forecasts? I mean, we can just see what happens on our own . And adjust our lives on that day.

I don't know where you live but here the weather forecasts are pretty accurate. especially the short rang forecasts, like for today and tomorrow. if your forecast is for a 50% chance of rain that means that 50% of the localities in the forecast area will experience rain, maybe not your exact area but 50% of the locations will.

Don't ask me. Imagine if we all did our jobs like that? ''Yeah boss, there's a 60% chance I'll get those lighting fixtures installed today.'' Or '' O.K. sir, there's a chance of 3 to 6 hamburgers being in your bag, and oh by the way, the french fries you ordered passed just to the south of us.'' I know I wouldn't have a job for long!

They don't careif you believe it or not, but to many it gives them an idea what kind of weather their might be dealing with outside.
