Well only being married for 13 years and a man I am not a pro. I think the question is asked a little different than intended. Do you really see yourself being with another man or is it that you see yourself with your husband in a more intimate passionate manner? I think over the course of time we forget the things our partners need. Yes affection is a NEED. We all need it in different ways and more of it at different times. When my wife told me she felt that way I stepped up. But I would have never known if she didn't tell me. I would say if it is affection from your husband you seek then let him know. Give him a chance to help you feel better. You are never wrong for feeling a certain way. At your age I assume your kids are out of the house or very close to it and that could have something to do with it. If it is affection from another man then you have an entirely different problem. Take him out and surprise him with a nice dinner and a movie and some (insert favorite drink here). You may just need to give it a little boost that's all. But at the very least let him know what you need. Men are at HUGE disadvantage we are NOT mind readers but we do care. I hope this helps and good luck.

You would be putting your marriage at risk if you stray. Is this what you want? Could you live with the guilt? Try initiating the sexual act yourself. You might find that your husband will find that a turn on. I have been married for 39 years and am 56, that doesn't mean I'm dead and I love cuddles, not just the sex act. Get him on the sofa, cuddle up when watching t.v. or listening to music. Give him a kiss, stroke his thigh, make it clear that you would like more physical contact and it doesn't have to be in the bedroom. If that doesn't work tell him you how you feel, but I would miss out the bit about thinking of sleeping with other men.

You know if people that put all that effort of hiding their cheating into their relationship they wouldnt need to find what they "need" outside of the relationship in the first place.
See you're saying that you crave a little more attention. Now sure there are always two sides to every coin, so we can only comment on what you've written here...but have you told your husband this? Have you done anything to change this is your relationship now? Is there any way you can get this extra attention from your husband without having to resort to going outside the marriage?
Not answers to your question really...but something for you to think about before you do anything. You have a big choice to make and Im not saying stick in an unhappy marriage or anything...just know that if you do something it WILL have consequenses...are you happy to live with that just to try and find a little "attention"?

Well since you guys have been married that long...i think...no its not wrong to feel this way...but also...since he is your husband...you should be able to talk to him about it before u go lookin somewhere else...and if u don't wanna be too forward and just come out and say it...maybe u should make some suggestions or just put on a show for him and maybe ya'll will both enjoy it...or talk and see how he's feeling about the whole sex thing...maybe he's having some insecurities and ya know...with him being a man and all...he might not wanna just come out and say it so....just try the talkin thing or some other things to spice it up a bit...go online and look up some places you guys can go together and explore each others sexual desires and stuff....i dunno
Good Luck

Why are you askng a stupid question? Do you not know the answer to this question or are you simply trying to get enough people to say it is okay, so you dont feel as quilty? Come on, be honest here.
You know that you are wrong to cheat. If you cant get more from him, then you simply have to face that we all have unresolved wants and so forth, but that is only part of marriage, is it not?.
Dont you already know this lady? Stop playing the stupid games that so many others play and stop acting like getting enough people to say what you want to hear will make it okay. If you are not smart enough and mature enough at this age to realize that there is always something more to want, you are a dope and the typical women of today. Cant any of you women ever be happy that you got a good man and have a fairly good life?

Twenty-five years. Congratulations. I've been married to my wife for only 14 years and with all the stress in our lives I can honestly say I know what you mean. I'm the one in our relationship that is all lovey dovey and wish she could be the same way with me. Just because I'm a man don't mean I don't crave more attention. I wish my wife could show me more enthusiasm just in general. We are both very busy and really don't have time for ourselves. Any chance you and the husband are in the same boat. The best I can think of is to try to talk more about your relationship and how important it is, maybe go out and have some fun like you did back when you were dating. I'm going to try this myself so maybe it will work for the both of us.

A few years ago they took a survey with people who had been married for 15 years or more. They discovered that they did not talk to each other for more than 20 minutes PER WEEK. Now if he is not going to even talk to you, do you think he is going to do anything else? As bad as this sounds you are not going to get it from him. You can go to a counselor and do bunches of short term things, but the bottom line is that he is bored. It comes down to that he is bored with you, but don't take that personally, if that is possible. He would be bored with Miss Universe after that amount of time. Its a guy thing. It really is and they tap dance around it a lot, but that is the bottom line.

That sounds normal, it is unrealistic to think we can go through life without ever seeing someone of the oposite sex we are attractide to. But the difference between us and the animals is we don't act on every impulse. You have been married 25 years? He must be doing something right. There is so many losers out there that take drugs, won't work, alcoholics, and preverts and out right thieves. You have a descent husband don't do anything to mess that up. Just be thankful you have a decent person in your life and appreciate him. Trust me as a nurse they are all the same with their clothes off.
You won't believe how many women come in here beaten almost to death by the man who is supose to love them. Who won't work and support them and spend their money and go out on them and treat them like dirt. Your a fool is you risk losing a decent person.

OK, this is my mold, I live this everyday. I know what it is like to have a woman tell me I don't care, don't love, and am not sweet. Men and women think differently, always have, always will. Men can be what you want them to be but when the ring goes on the finger and the cake goes in the mouth, all bets are off and men become pawns for women's emotions. If your man really comes around and starts doing what you want, you may have to worry about him coming out of the closet and running off with another man.
