Why do you say this ?? They have to play the game like every other act out there ..so they won't become irrelevant and so the company can profit from album sales. I think the most irritating band in history was the Back Street Boys...where were they on the back streets of ..?? Sesame Street !!!!!!!!!

The Chili Peppers are not annoying.
My Chemical Romance is annoying. Green Day is annoying. Good Charlotte is annoying ect.

They may be. In 1987 when their lead guitarist died, I thought, "wheh, that is it for Red Hot Chili Peppers."
Now it is TWENTY years later and they are still out there.

I can think of others Far more annoying. My only real problem w/ them is that many of their songs tend to sound "samey". That same "RHCP funk."
