As others have said, the 20th. I have always wondered how it would be handled if someone didn't like pancakes!
I prolly will eat them with honey and maybe cream. I have to be ready for lent!
I have lots of lent on some of my clothes.

Mardi Gras (French for "Fat Tuesday") is the day before Ash Wednesday, and is also called "Shrove Tuesday" or "Pancake Day".
The date can vary from February 3 to March 9 in non-leap years or February 4 to March 9 in leap years. Like Lent, the date is dependent on that of Easter.

Shrove Tuesday is the last day before the period which Christians call Lent. This day is one of the moveable feasts in the church calendar and is directly related to the date on which Easter falls.

Shrove Tuesday always falls 47 days before to Easter Sunday, so the date varies from year to year and falls between February 3 and March 9.

In 2007 Pancake Day will be on 20 February
and in 2008 it will be on 5 February.
