He was also seen playing this song with a '58 or '59 Fender Telecaster. The thing about Page is that it doesn't seem to matter what guitar he uses, he always sounds like Jimmy Page.

Actually, Jimmy used a Gibson Black Beauty on the Communication Breakdown song, as well as many other songs. He was one of the first people in England to own such a guitar, but he never even realized it. Most of the unique sounds on Communication Breakdown are not a result of the guitar as much as the different microphone placings he experimented with on that song. I hope this helps
