Of course I have. Things that pertain to my past, are just that....my past. I also do not need or desire to know every unknown secret that my husband might have. I think being too honest can be over rated at times. Why tell someone something just for the sake of telling them? so you can say you do not keep secrets? or get rid of guilt you have ,to make yourself feel better? I have been confided in by many a person, I will not break that trust, when I say" you can tell me," to a friend, I am being truthful, it will remain between myself and them. My husband and I have been married for 23 years and we respect each others judgment.

There are some personal things that my spouse doesn't know about me - things from the past that are irrelevant to the present; if you can call them "secrets", then I guess yes, I'm keeping "secrets".

yes but nothing that would be catostrophic to our marriage. There are many things that I have seen or heard or done in the past, before we met, that I don't believe he needs to know about I tell him everything that he should know, But I really don't want to know about his past encounters with women before me ~~ he can keep those details secret and I am just fine with that. As far as now that we are together ~~ no ~~` anything pertaining to our relationship now he knows. If he is in anyway effected by the secret. If it is about a friend and doesnt effect him or me than no I don't say anything.

The only secrets I keep from my spouse are gifts and other family surprises. Now, I do not divulge work related information that is considered privileged. My wife is a health care provider and she does not discuss individual patients with me.

Yes, you do not have to tell your spouse everything about you to have a happy marriage. Some things are better left unsaid. I think it makes the relationship stronger in the long run.

You know....everyone does something wrong at one point. Everyone who says "I've never lied", well im sorry, YOU may not have lied, but your partner most likely DID lie to you about something sometime or another. You still can have trust for your partner and not tell them everything in the whole entire world. I prefer to keep a lot of things to myself

I'm sure the women on here have kept plenty of secrets. Whats the matter ladies? Is the past coming back to bite you in your azz?
Oh right I forgot, the past doesn't matter right? I thought you were supposed to have fond memories of the past because it makes you who you are today.

I am not good at keeping them. The guilt eats away. I have never lasted more than a few days.
By the way I have NEVER had a "monster" secret (like cheating or something).
