Can anybody tell me what teenagers did for fun and normal life during the 1940's and what the difference was pre-war and during the war for teenagers?

they'd go to the movies, have bonfires...not much different than today. The movies was extremely popular back then. because of all the war, changes, and sadness going on in the world, the movies and stage was a way to get away from the real world. But when the war started a lot more movies became more vivid in detail of the war and casualties going on it the war. and whether or not they wanted to hear about it, they'd have to. A lot of teenagers wanted to join the war thinking it would bring honor and make them out to be heroes as portrayed in the big movies. So war became less serious and for honor and more for a job and "game" rather than a duty for out country.

Back then, the boys would have shooting contests with their wieners and the girls would practice kissing with their brothers. No difference between pre-war or war as teenagers were still patriotic...
