What do you mean "return?" We're living it NOW under the name "War on Drugs" which, by comparison has been FAR more disastrous and lengthy than alcohol prohibition.
People look back at "Prohibition" as if some nostalgic joke, a good old days view but, at the time, it was no laughing matter.
As far as protesting, I frequently write my elected representatives with pleas for reform, letters to editors of publications, and message board forums, etc. providing links to hopefully enlighten others to the atrocities perpetrated by government against its citizens.

OK..real answer for what seems to be a real question, Folks want their sins, be it liquor, sex, drugs or ice cream, you saw what we had with prohibition, and what we have now with the drug wars, Education, that's the key. I would protest it, it would be a waste of money and resources. The only people who win are the crooks and cops, they both get job security.

Very! I'm not much of a drinker (like I can't remember the last time I *had* a drink, because I simply don't care for it), but I don't believe you can legislate morality, just as prohibition clearly demonstrated.

None whatsoever. I am an ICU nurse and have seen what alcohol does to people every day. Not pretty.

not much. I don't drink very often...and it's generally a bad thing. I know to many alcoholics that are assholes
