I work in a huge foundation, it takes months for the tech personal to come, i need to fix this on my own. ASAP. PLEASE HELP!!!

I know the Workgroup name, but i cant configure the "Network Resource Permission"

They probably use a client like Novell if they are a huge corporation so your gonna have to wait for someone to do it for you because you will need a password and user account among many other things.

If you are trying to add a new PC to the domain you probably do not have the permission on the network. Why such bad tech support?? Where you located? I am a network consultant and would be happy to support your office if it is in the area.

If you have a "huge" network than you probably aren't using workgroups, you are probably on a domain.
And if your on a domain the domain controller is probably giving out address's via DHCP automatically..

Unfortunately, you will need a Domain Admin login details with permissions to add a PC into active directory. With out this you will have to wait for someone to do it for you.

Workgroup name? what OS did you use to build your network? Windows? Don't bother to use it, Linux? I can help you.
