In New York state with Joint custody, does the father have any say in the child's education?

it doesnt matter what state you liv ein, if you have joint custody yes he does. if you are concerned about this you should get full custody with him taking weekends or whatever, you will have a schedule when he gets the kids.thats what i do with my kids and i have all say

You sure do. If you pay support and/or your divorce decree gives you say so in raising your children
