my laptop is compatible with WI FI and Bluetooth but i dont know how conect to the internet! i want to do it via WI FI but i need to know what do i need to do it? i dont want to use a router

on the bottom of you screen on the right hand side where it says the time look for a symbol that shows a computer with 4 or 3 bars comming out and it should have an X over it then write click on it and click view available networks then it will giv u a list then.....llook for an unsecure one and connect

unfortunately, to do it via wi-fi you need a wireless router. you can do it the old way with wires and just connect to your modem you already have. but in order to do it wi-fi, your wireless card needs something to talk to - a wireless router. your router of course needs to be hooked up to your modem. i dont know as much about bluetooth but i know that you can also use broadband cards through cingular or verizon wireless. with these cards, you don't need a router. you just put the card in and set it up. of course you got to pay for the card and i think a fee each month just like a cell phone. but my fiancee has one through cingular and it works very well. good luck!

hey its me the guy who ask this question!!

i thought that i can connect it like the nintendo wii o ds with the usb WI FI, i seen this pc cards and they r like 60 bucks a month but thanks anywyas

a wireless card for your computer. You may already have one in your laptop, a lot of them come with your computer.
