Im meant someone who is primarily not a "Diva" like Maria or Queen Sharmell. Diva to me means you are pretty but you can't wrestle-Torrie Wilson and Candice Michelle are two examples of ladies that try to wrestle but aren't very good.

Widow's Peak- you are a fan of good wrestling like I am. Molly Holly was indeed kick***. I thought she was cute too, but I'm probably in the minority. Props to you for knowing who Dean Malenko is.

I like both Victoria and Mickie James. However, I noticed that you didn't mention if they had to be employed by the WWE to this day, so my pick will be Molly Holly. She was trained by Dean Malenko. She was an amazing female wrestler and I miss seeing her in action.

Hmm...well let's break this down for a second...
Victoria - One of the best female wrestlers the wrestling world has seen in a long time, no doubt. But they've turned her into a run-of-the-mill slut character rather than her over-the-top-pretty-psycho character we all loved.
Mickie James - She's brilliant...that's all you can say about her...she was trained by frickin' Dory Funk Jr., what more can you ask? She is definantly one of the best out there today.
Molly Holly - Yep, everybody has forgotten about her so far. But Molly Holly was an awesome Women's Champion and she had a CRAZY finishing maneuver.
Trish Stratus - Most dominant WWE female wrestler in an age...but she's not AMERICAN.
Lita - She was an innovator of the athletic women's division it's true...but she got stale...she got scared to take risks...and she got roped into a storyline where she was a whore.
Gail Kim - Another great wrestler...still not American...not even technically Korean...that's just her nationality...she TOO is from Canada.
Stacy Keibler - Hell no...eye candy...can't wrestle
That goes for Candice Michelle, Maria, and Torrie Wilson as well.
Then you have a lot of carbon copy wannabe female wrestlers like Jillian, Christy Hemme, and Traci Brooks...but who cares about them.
So who's MY choice as the best American female wrestler?

She is like, the female CM Punk of independent promotions. All die-hard wrestling fans know her name...but she hasn't hardly worked for any big companies full-time. She DID make an appearance as a valet for the nWo in WCW...but she wasn't there long. Try to find some of her matches if you don't know who she is...you won't regret it...she won't let you

Beulah McGillicutty...she's married to Tommy Dreamer, she's flexible, she's athletic, and she held her own against male competitors in the original ECW...you don't GET more Hardcore ***** than that!

My personal opinion about who the best American Female Wrestler is Trish Stratus cuz she didnt have to go to Playboy or pose nude to get fame in the WWE. All she had was excellent wrestling ability. She evolved from a valet, to a diva, to a 7 time Women's Champion. Even though I personally hated Lita, she did a lot for the Women's Division. She was the one who let men know that women can wrestle too. She has the second highest record,tying with The Fabulous Moolah for holding the Women's Title 4 times. as for divas that aren't retired, Mickie James had got to be the best one right now because although while Lita was in wrestling, and made Mickie be shackled, blindfolded, had to have one hand tied behind her back, etc., she managed to want to go through the match and try to beat her. She even managed to beat her once with her legs shackled together. sorry for the long answer but i just wanted to give a full answer.

Victoria and Mickie James are wrestlers as well as diva's, but i love their wrestling ability, i mean, they are so talented! They got very great ability, just like Trish Stratus. It's a shame that many of the women in the locker room got the worst ability any female wrestler can ever own.

Trish Stratus of course! Not only she is the most beautiful person alive (besides Cena), but she is the most talented female wrestler EVER! She does have ability and my opinion is the she IS the greatest EVER!!! Yeah, Mickie, Victoria and Lita are good, but no one can be compared to Trish Stratus because she is the best!

My vote goes fully to Mickie James. She has the best ability, the most stamina, has the best moves, and is the most deserving Women's champion in WWE history. Even better than Chyna and Trish Stratus.
