I know..and this is what I would do..Id tell him I have nothing to talk about with him unless its regarding your son. He should have no need to introduce you to someone in his life if hes not even there for his son. I told my ex who I broke up with five weeks ago that I didnt want to know anything about his personal life whatsoever unless it involved our daughter because it hurts way to much.I find that not knowing is better then knowing and if hes not even there for your kid id write him out of my life completely change my number after leaving him a text making it clear that I wanted nothing to do with him unless it involved him visiting his son. Why should this jerk even rub it in your face that hes found someone else?

You poor thing. Well, the first thing is, it's not really possilbe to predict how to feel since we don't know what he's going to say. If he's not going to ever tell you the truth about how he met this person, let it be. He may eventually feel the guilt over that or not; unfortunately it's not up to you to decide that =(. I would hear him out and see what he says. It's a shame of course that there's a child involved, When you meet up with him, act yourself. Don't put up a front or anything, and just go from there =) Let me know how things turn out! Best wishes =)

Don't let him see that it bothers you. Tell him you only want to talk about issues pertaining to your son and his private life is none of your problem anymore, if he wants to chat to someone about go get online lol! It will take a while for the pain and anger to stop, but put on a poker face and be tough. And ask why it has been so long since he called anyway~~ya'll have a child together ~~first thing in the morning~~if you havent done it yet~~take child support out on his ***. Good luck hon.

I think you should stay calm, whatever you do. It may be that he wants to come back, or discuss future financial or custody arrangements, or that he's moving to another part of the country.
It's natural that you're angry with him, but stay calm, and don't let him demand an answer from you right away, whatever it is he wants to discuss with you. When he walked out on you, he forfeited all rights to instant acquiescence from you, you have every right to take your time to consider what it is he wants to discuss and give him an answer if a few days. Stay calm, let him have his say, and then tell him you are going to take some time to think about it, as it will have implications.
Don't say 'I'd like to take some time', be firm with him and yourself and say 'I am taking some time'. Let him know gently but firmly that this is the deal from now on. Once you know what he wants, then you can decide if you need a lawyer or whatever.

yes you should. You have a child together so you're going to be involved with each other for ever, pretty much.
meet in a coffee shop where you can speak quietly together but where both of you will be reluctant to get emotional or lose the plot in public. It makes for more rational discourse.
[by the way I don't know why that first guy still thinks his glyph finger is funny - ignore]

Best way to act is like you have got over him, and more importantly, are getting on with life. If he mentions another woman just say "Ok" like you really don't care. Save the tears and emotion till after he has gone. Doing this will make him think twice, especially if he wants to think you cant live without him

hi nati, why are he,s feelings so important?i always say that splitting up is six of one and half a dozen of the other. don,t you agree that you should both move along with your lives?with any split all it boils down to is kids and money, you state your case and let him state hisand hopefully you can both reach an agreement. nati look at this as a business meeting more than emotional conflict you try and be fair and hopefully he will try to be fair as in business don,t be walked upon kid ,and don,t try to walk all over him good luck and move on never look back

Geez what a creep! I'm sure you are hurt by what he did but don't let him call the shots. He left you and his son to be with another woman so tell him go be with her. File for child support and let his skank help him to make his payments on time. Move on with your life and find a hotter guy who will treat you and your son like gold.

Surprise him with your strength and dignity and all of a sudden he'll start missing you like crazy. That won't help you of course because you can never take him back, but make certain that he knows that the grass on the other side was no greener.

What he did or did not do to this point is no longer relevant. As much as you may want to get upset about whatever it is, don't do it in front of him. Just act like it's no big deal and you are fine with it.
