Am I seemingly not caring or loving her anymore, if I do nothing? Friends and family say, she's bad off. I couldn't help her when we were in each others life, no one could. She loves the drug as much as I love her. Her family believes there is no love because I removed myself from the entire scene. The love is there even though I have moved on, what is it that I can do???

There is a reason that during an intervention the friends and family of the addicted offer their help and love and support, if only the addicted will turn away from the drug completely and go to rehab and quit 100%. The only person who can change her is her. People who choose to stay in an addicted person's life after that addiction has taken over them are choosing to enable them. Tell her why you are not in her life. Tell her you will be there for her if she is not using. And stick to it.

Let go man, i have a similar situation and even though you love them, they have to be ready to give things up on their own, some people give it up becuase they love the person they are with, and in my case, my gf gave us a drug for me and then ended up being really nasty and unpleasant with me because she resented me for not being abe to do it anymore. You have to remember, you are not dating her family, you are dating her. And if it wasnt working and you were unhappy, then you have to leave for your own sake. You wouldnt have changed her, she would have just dragged you down with her. You did all you could, take the knowledge you were a good guy who tried, but find love with someone you can be with fully, Love isnt all easy, but it shouldnt have to be a dogfight.

Yes. You should have helped her see she had a problem or at least talked to her. You don't really care that much in my opinion, if you did, you would not abandon her.
