I think Kidd will go to the Lakers. He fits what the Lakers are looking for and I think the Nets could get some good young talent in return in Jordan Farmar, former 1st pick Kwame Brown, Chris Mihm and probably Aaron McKie to make the money right. The Nets would then be suring up their front line and would have Farmar and Marcus Williams to fill in at the point.
With VC, I am not sure what to think about him. I would kind of be surprised if he didn't end up in Orlando with Charlotte being a smaller possiblity. Depends on which team wants to bite the bullet and take on his contract. I think Orlando because they have more reason to believe they will recap some of that money on ticket sales. The Magic would probably move Trevor Ariza, Carlos Arroyo (who would also compete for time at PG for the Nets) and Pat Garrity for the money reason. This would give the nets a good young swingman in ariza, a good PG in Arroyo and Garrity, an expiring contract at about 3.5 million after this year.

The Nets are playing beneath their talent. I believe they are ready to start rebuilding around Jefferson. Kidd would fit good with the Lakers or the Cavs. Carter should go to the Lakers to show Odom what he is suppose to be doing and not standing around looking at Kobe.

Well, I'm not sure where Kidd will end up. I do remember Kidd saying that he does prefer to stay in NJ a week or 2 ago.
With that said, I would think there's a better chance of Kidd going to LA than Cleveland. LA has been rumored to be sending a couple 1st round picks along with expiring contracts such as Chris Mimh and/or Aaron McKie. Jordan Farmar has also been mentioned.

I truthfully think of that's a conflict between Kidd and coach Avery Johnson. Kidd replace into posting triple doubles in NJ this season and he's a vet in this league so i will no longer be able to be sure why it may be confusing for him to be triumphant in Dallas enjoying alongside with Dirk. Btw, Josh Howard seem to have hit a splash funk to boot. i think of Avery Johnson is to blame for their suffering. they have misplaced video games that had questionable training techniques surprisingly interior the previous few possessions.

You have an aging high flyer who soon will lose his main ability. As well as a aging play maker. Sure, there great. But if you can build a team around a young rising star in Richard Jefferson, they will be fine. The Nets want to get some youth on there team.

it is a business now and it seems more like a what have you done for me lately league. the guys are talented, but do you think they have the pieces to win a championship? no. tragic when your team unloads all their talent i know the feeling being a atlanta hawks and braves fan in the 90's era. it seems like they traded away everyone who was good and then did not bring in a great player for them(hawks-wilkins, rollins, rivers, willis, braves-every pitcher who did good, justice, sanders, .....) but if you are not producing titles, then management wants to try and do like the heat did last year and piece together a championship crew for now. or they just unload everybody but a few players whom they can build a squad around. vince or jkidd could help a number of teams in both divisions now, but they would end up going to a team with a chance of winning it all (for their chance now, to get draft picks and young players for a chance to build on later). it's just the nature of the biz.......
