finally got thie nerve to ask this guy I like to 'hang out". What actually happened was.. i text messaged him asking him that we should hang out soon and he text messaged me back ten minutes later... saying that he would like too, although it have to be in a couple of weeks, because that;s the next time he gets paid because he's broke as a joke" quote on quote.. so we conversated furthur and he revealed to me that he tends to be a bit shy when it comes to women because he's afraid or rejection.. and he has been rejected in the past.. I then asked him do he feel confident enough to try to get an attractive woman..and he said yes but usually he's not in pursuit .. or rather it depends on what mood he's in...How would you feel about this guy after this converation...I'm just not sure..I know that everytime is see him he smiles, and he's flirted with me and the past...but now I just don't know about him

There are plenty of guys out there who are honestly afraid of rejection. To me he shows all the signs of someone trying to take it easy 'cause he doesn't want to get rejected. I say ask him out.

What's the worst that could happen? Say no? So what, he still expressed interest in "hanging out". Just be mature about it and he may feel more comfortable asking you out AFTER you "hang out".

That's what I wanted to be from 5-15 years old, and I also enjoy cooking. However, now I'm looking into business. Architecture is a good career though. Things you need to know about it: 1. The college degree is almost alway 5-6 years. 2. It's good if you are creative, yet in a geometric kind of way. 3. You'll need to learn to be comfortable with CAD (computer aided design) programs because in the modern days things are shifting from paper to computers. I've played around a little with CAD. It takes a while to learn well, so it takes perserverance and practice, but it's fun to do and it's rewarding to look back at the final product and see your good work. If you do end up doing this, your goal should be to end up owning your own architecture business. The money is best there.

The things you mentioned, the church group, the workout) those are free things. Maybe try to stick to that. Maybe he is just not ready to have a girlfriend because of the money. Try to find things to do that don't cost any money. Maybe he will see that you really do want to be with him and it doesn't have to cost anything. Have fun!!

I'd say you've made your move; he knows you're somewhat interested, and now the ball is back in his court.Just keep a ready smile, but remember, regardless of what he says, men do like the hunt.
