With all due respect, Sir, this is not a question.

You want to know about the beginning of the beginning.

Why is it necessary to ponder what can only be an idle musing? Also, why is it necessary to insert the "God" factor into the equation when dealing with observable objects in near space? You insert a crutch for the feeble to lean on instead of dealing with the math and the science of the universe. I suggest that it is far more beneficial to us, and to you, to study and discuss something that is tangible and real...rather than confuse the issue with theologies that undermine basic research efforts and thinking.

Before the Big Bang, if you subscribe to that theory, there was no life we suppose. Therefore, how could anyone here today possibly tell you what happened prior to that time? It is all theory. And, if you will pardon me again, the question does not still linger...It is not a question worth considering.

When one can truely take the time to observe and try extremely hard to understand our world, they will be awe struck with its complexity. Levels, upon sublevels, upon sublevels, upon sublevels almost to infinity of just.....stuff. Imagine everything? Impossible isnt it?

Now trying to imagine everything......from nothing? pretty rediculous. I will love to see an explosion create a tree.....ill wait all day and nothing will change.

However if God created everything, does something have to have created Him? Why couldnt be have always been there? Dont you think that if there is a God that has all that power, that he can create our universe in all its complexity and order? Dont you think that such power can created our way of thought, chemistry, physics, math, biology, and ever other aspect of our reality that makes everything go? A big explosion for me, just doesnt cut it.

that's the one question i really want the answer too. and you know, even though i think people who believe in god are wrong, it would be nice to have that answered when i die. to know I'm more important than just a body and mind. that I'm part of something special. i dont just want to die and stop everything, but that's how it's looking to me.
the answer to your question is the most complex thing ever. no one will ever know and you have to accept it and stop wondering about it.

My opinion is this: nothing can't stay as nothing for a very long time. Something has to pop up somehow, because nothingness is to stable.
