How can you tell f someone's family has a lot of money?

What if they wear the same clothes often?

If it is old money they will be in the social registry. If they are very rich they will be mentioned in Forbes top 100.

One of my best friend's family was uber-wealthy, but he wore the same grungy zip-up hoody for years; so clothes aren't a good way to tell.

You'd have to find out their address and check out their house on google satellite maps.
