No, for those of us without "valentines" it is just plain depressing.

I love it. No pun intended. Yes, I'm a teacher and it tickles me pink to see my young students getting so excited about those paper valentines they exchange. The best part is that they are far and away MORE excited about the ones they give than the ones they are given.
That and the fact that I love chocolate makes Valentine's Day pretty fun. ;-)

It depends on how you feel about yourself. Sometimes it can be a self-esteem bruiser, or one of the most fun days of the year. You've gotta have a good outlook on your life to like Valentine's Day.

My husband and I have been married for 10 years. We do not celebrate Valentine's Day. It is just an excuse for card companies to make money and for florists and restaurants to double their prices for the day.

i quite like the idea because some men do sweet things only that day, although for me it is not like that. i believe that if you love your partner you should show him/her your love every day not necessary with gifts and diamonds but with some sweet words and a hug. shops like Clinton's should like valentine's day very much

No. I don't need a special day once a year to say, "I love you"
I could buy gifts and make romantic dinners any day of the week.
If I want chocolate or perfume, I buy it for myself. Then I know I like it.

I'm indifferent to it. On one hand, I don't need a special day to tell my sweetheart how I feel about her. On the other hand, it's kind of nice to have a day where you can pay a little extra attention to the one you love.

No I don't need a certain day to tell someone I love them, I tell them everyday just because I want to.

After you've been married for nine years, Vday is just like any other day.
