Wherever you go, anyone under 2 will know what you did. They will point you out to their mothers and they will chastise you in baby-talk. Eventually your hit points will be whittled down to almost nothing. The only thing you will be able to do at that point is find that client you lied to, walk up to them, say "There's something I can't hold in anymore," then rip a new one.
The next time you see that client blame it on the 4 beers you didn't drink the night before.

I think you are clever. I am an ICU nurse and when that happens to me at work I blame that patient. Now that is worse than blaming it on a baby.

if you con't balme the dog, blame the baby.
or next time, don't even say anything and just watch their faces as they have to try and breathe through their mouth.
