I've not spoken to my close female friend for 2 months as we got to close.I told her that I wanted no contact so that I could get over my feelings for her. She only wanted to be friends.

I've tried to get bck in touch as I've got over her now and I'm interested in another girl. She's been ignoring my attempts to get in touch-I've apologised if I wasn't tactful in the way I said I wanted no contact for awhile

She's ignoring me and said 'WE ARE ON A BREAK' - MEANING?

I'm going to see her on Friday - I'm dreading it.Trying to establish contact beforehand - for our mate's sake(her reunion party).

How will she possibly behave/react to seeing me???

Why she like this - she wanted to be friends....surely she'll still not be hurting from me not wanting no contact for awhile........?

She's just written:i really do not have the energy to keep explaining things to you.I will be civil but i'm afraid i feel the close friendship is lost...........

on a break means good-bye. put it down as a new life experience and forget about her. i don't know the personal details about you both but in my experience when a woman wanted me as just a friend she was just stringing me along, this is even after we've slept together. one woman i spent a week with told me i wasn't moving in with her and she didn't love me, all because i asked her did she want to make a relationship happen. but that's pretty much cut and dried all i could then was say goodbye to her forever. move on forget about her.

You'd be surprised women can hold grudges like you wouldn't believe there is a good possibility she's still mad at you. She most likely will do 1 of 3 things at this party 1. ignore you completely 2.Talk to you as if nothing happened or 3. Make fun of you with other friends (sorry :( that's just how we are, it's a defensive move)

Why are you torturing yourself like this. She wanted to be just friends and I suspect those reasons remain unchanged. Greet her as a friend. Treat her as a friend and move on, in the way that you say she has already done so. 'We are on a break' - she's only being sarcastic it was probably the shock of you actually taking her at her word. I bet she thought she had a greater hold over you than that. Grow up a little and get someone who is going to treat you better.

Have you considered that she may not have only wanted to be friends with you despite saying she did? and the fact that you are over her is not what was in her plan? If she was a true friend she would be big enough to understand, so I suspect its the former

Women are like that. She may be very pleased to see you, inside. But for the outward appearance you may get the cold shoulder.Like i said,Women are like that. She may have felt like you did from the beginning, and wasn't ready to show her feelings. You may never really know. What i think you should do is continue to honest with her if the subject comes up.If it doesn't,Great, you won't have to deal with it.Your feelings, concentration should be on the woman your with now.The rest is old news.

Take it one day at a time because women totally think and feel different about these situations!

you freaked her out by being too pushy.

stay away from her untill she speaks to you or you will scare her away even more.
