Actually, leaking the name of a CIA agent, whether undercover or not is a crime. That is why Libby is on trial for lying about a crime. Did Cheney know? Of course he did. He is one vindictive, nasty little man. It was that trio of Cheney, Rove and their puppet Bush who were behind it to punish her husband for daring to criticize them. What a way to run a country, based on petty vindictiveness.

Maybe that will be his excuse. Libby will take the fall and go to jail. Bush will pardon him.
"Kato" you obviously don't know the facts of the case. Libby is being charged for lying under oath, most likely to protect Cheney.

Valerie Plame is such old news, I'm sick of it. She wasn't a covert agent, her life was never in danger and thus no crime was committed. Case closed, end of story.
(yes, I do know the facts of the case...I know that he is being charged with perjury. The fact remains that the "crime" for which he committed perjury never happened. I do not condone perjury and believe that Mr. Libby should be punished for it. Case closed, end of story.)
