I would really appreciate any advice concerning what the course is like, and what oppurtunities are likely to be available after the degree. :)

I actually found it to be an awesome course, with a few draw backs. You learn to "read people" by all their actions and emotions.
The draw back is you tend to over do it and start becoming judgmental on those your close to (bad thing to do).
It can be a stepping stone in several career choices. I added Human Science to my classes and was aiming towards law.

I thought it was a fun class. I took it for an extra. If you've ever wondered why people do certain things, you might enjoy it. Never hurts to give it a try. You can always drop within a certain time frame and get your money back if you don't like it.

in undergrad, i intended on majoring in psych, but switched to social work. i realized that there are more job opportunities for social workers, and basically you cant do anything with a bachelors degree in psych, let alone make any money. im in grad school now getting my masters in social work, and am interning in a psych hospital. i highly recommend looking into a social work program, if your school has one, because you can still work in a mental health field, but you will have a much more flexible degree.
