If yhou are using a tampon that is too large four your flow than it can be very uncomfortable and you can experience discomfort. There are different levels of absorbancy for tampons, these are based on your flow (the ammount of blood that you have). Generally at the start of a period women use higher absorbancies and during the end lighter. If you are just starting out using tampons I would suggest using a ligher one, either a junior or regular.

I found that Playtex tampons more comfortable that others. Tampax tampons are too long and can be uncomfortable. Use the lightest absorbency available for your flow. It you're not sure start with regular absorbency first.

You should use the appropriate size tampon according to the flow of your period. If it is heavy then use a super absorbency etc.

No a tampon is a tampon. Try using PEARL tampons! There the best. Also try putting it in right after the shower it wont be pain full.

It probably won't physically injure you, but I wouldn't recommend it. If it's still somewhat dry when you remove it, it'll be cause some discomfort. Don't use an absorbancy higher than what your flow needs.

Hurt you like how? you mean forever? no....most tampons are not too big for anyone...your vagina will adjust around it.it feels big because of the muscle it has to get past.

it might, you should find one according to your flow, light for light days, regular if you have a normal flow, heavy if you have heavy flow.and remember to not over use it b/c of risk of tss. Hope it helps :)
