Chevy Trailblazer 2002 Missing code??

Question

I looked in my glove box to find the code for the transfer case. I was told it should be NP1 or NP8. Neither one shows. How can I find out? I'm trying to find out which encoder motor to buy. 5-pin or 7-pin.
Is this code anywhere else on the car? Thanks!!

The information will be identified on the nomenclature plate attached to the transfer case.
Crawl under with a cloth and brush and clean the plate off, but don't scrape too hard or you may scrape off the stamped information.
