I have always been a fan of irish dancing but hate tap. Which is more popular and which one is more challeging to learn?

Well, tap is much more common I believe...but I would think Irish dancing would be harder because you have to keep your entire upper body still which is EXTREMELY hard to do, considering you are jumping and lot and stuff. I do love Irish Step dancing more though, it's just so much fun to watch. =]

tap. it's way more challenging(im on a competitive dance team), but it's really fun when u get the hang of it. Irish, yes, is also fun, but tap is more popular.

I think tap is more popular but irish dancing is harder from my own experience as a tap dancer and from hearing from my friend who is a tap dancer.

tap is more popular and probably easier....there is a step called the irish
