how much does it hurt 2 get ur tongue pierced i REALLY wanna get it pierced but i have fairly low pain tolerance.?

It hurts like hell, I think. It is also all swelled for a few days after and you won't be able to talk right, I got mine done when I was 17, I wish I would have never done it because it is horrible for your teeth. I chipped a few of mine with it and one time I was eating skittles and I about busted one out. Needless to say, I took it out after that. I think having all your teeth is much sexier than a tongue ring. You live and you learn.

I have an incredibly low tolerance for pain! Somehow I made it through a tatoo...anyways, the tongue piercing did not hurt AT ALL!! it was quick and painless; my belly button piercing hurt more and that only hurt b/c I had to get it redone and they had to go through all the scar tissue...do it, you will be fine.

Not only does it hurt like hell, it is very hard on your teeth. Add at least $1,000 to the cost to cover the dental bills in the next 24 months. In addition, a certain number of tougue piercings go bad and result in the loss of taste and even tongue removal...that really hurts.

Everyone is different so no one can tell you how bad it will hurt you, people speak only for themselves. But you will feel something, your tongue will probably swell and it will be hard to eat and talk for a few days.
Its done and over with quickly, so piercings aren't really that bad. Just try to relax and you'll be fine.

It hurts sooooooo bad!!!!! They giv u this stuff to swish around in your mouth that suppose to numb it but believe me it doesnt work, and even if it did, afterwards it hurts so bad! When you eat it rips ur tongue a little bit especially when eating a burger! And heaven forbid you chew gum,Its not easy havn one.It gets very irritating

DON"T DO IT!!!!! trust me youl regret it. Have you ever bit your tounge?I mean really hard? well magnify that pain 10 times. Plus you'll mumble when you try to talk, you could get complicated infections, and how are you supposed to eat? It's not a good idea!

i agree with sparkle burst, try biting your tounge, or have you bitten it when you`re eating ? it HURTS like a ***** !! now imagine poking a needle through it, plus having clamps on your tounge (they have to hold the tounge with clamps) it`s horrible !! i`ve seen my friend get his tounge pierced, he held on to my hands so hard he cracked my knuckles -__- so yes. it hurts ! you could even be hospitalized if you get infected. seriously, i don`t think the body was made to have any holes instead of earrings.

i say i think it would be pretty painful cuz if bitting ur tounge hurts then putting a hole threw it should!!!!!
