Many car CD players will not play CD-Rs or CD-RWs.

If the laser in your car player is not strong enough, it will not play CD-RW disks. You might try CD-R which sometimes works but won't be rewriteable or you may have to upgrade your car player to one that says it will work with CD-R and -RW. Good luck.

If it's actualy burning an audio CD, that normally means converting the files into .cda format then burning them to disc. In which case, the CD will play on ANY cd player. If it's merely transfering the same files to disc (a Data CD) then no it won't play on any CD player. I don't use iTunes myself, but normally any "Burn to CD" function on any music player means the first thing I mentioned... it creates a normal audio CD. Any files sucessfully converted and burnt WILL work on any CD player... of course that's not a guarentee all the files will successfuly convert in the first place.

You need to get the CD's in the correct format, I use CD-RW+, if I use minus, it won't play in my car. Or is it the other way around? Go to Walmart or someplace and they will tell you if you need CD-RW+, or CD-RW-. Hope this helps
