I think the real quote is either "....with a bear" or "....with a beer."
Either of them make more sense. Especially the bear one. You betcher ass I wouldn't trust anyone with a bear!

Valid anecdote, Means that a man with a beard is hiding something, obscuring his face for a reason, I tend to agree with it.
