Plug in your friend's iPod into your computer. The photos and everything else on your friend's iPod should be automatically deleted.

If everything is NOT deleted because your friend allowed himself/herself to manage songs on his/her iPod manually, just restore the iPod to factory settings. Here is a guide on how to do that. Everything on the iPod will be gone and the settings will be the way they were when they came from the box.

If this still isn't working, then click on the iPod icon that appears under the source list when it is plugged into your computer.
Go to the "photos" tab. Un-check the checkbox that says "Sync photos onto iPod." Click Apply. Then, click File -> Sync "(Name of iPod)." The photos should be erased.

Good luck!

All you need to do is sync your iPod with iTunes on your computer. Doing this will delete any pictures not currently on your computer.

If this doesn't work, you can restore your iPod which will delete everything off of it and restore it to as it was when it was first taken out of the box. To learn how to do this, click on the source link, select your computer's operating system and your iPod model, and click on the word "restore". This will show you step-by-step how to do it.

What you need to do is go to your iPod preferences and look for the photos....From there you can delete the ones that you want to.
