My ex boyfriend told me when I met him that he had never been married and was still a virgin for religious reasons. He was a physically normal, very good looking guy who was definitely interested in women. He wasn't a totally honest person because he encouraged me to lie to other people. Do you think he probably lied about being a virgin?

I would imagine he was very likely full of crap. Unless of course you never had sex with him.

No. He had no reason to lie. In fact, if he was going to lie I would think he would have said the opposite. There are many people who do not have sex until marriage for religious reasons.
Update - Wow, Spamovision is pretty insecure and in spiritual trouble. He lashes out at Roman Catholics over this question??

I work with one that is 30 years old. For some reason people treat these guys that are saving themselves like losers.
So what if they didn't have sex with everybody they bumped into. Seems women these days do just that.
