Ask me why? I hope that it's not true because daytime tv will suck except for the Price is Right and Days of our Lives and Jerry Springer which is still go on.

Passions was last in the ratings and was cancelled. Last air date is September 7th, unless another network picks it up, which is kind of unlikely as rumors of too high of a budget are clouding that chance. And yes the rumors of one reason it is being cancelled is that they want to give 4 hours to the Today Show!! How wild is that?!?!
For someone who mentioned it, Days of Our Lives has a contract with NBC until 2009. At that time, they will see whether they are going to cancel it or not. Rumor is that if Days gets cancelled from NBC, another network will pick it up as it has a long history and ratings are just starting to climb back up with the changing of writers there.
But as for Passions, the storylines are getting great though with lots of mysteries, so if you aren't watching, watch now!!!! I'll attach a great website for you that has both Days & Passions info on it, including spoilers, show summaries, actor info, etc. It's a great page and a great place to catch up if you've missed the show!

It will be on until Sept. 7. NBC canceled Passions because of low ratings and it needed the time to expand the Today Show to 4 hours....like 3 hours isn't enough!

Yes, I hate that they may not be on anymore. The last air date is September 7, 2007. They are looking for another network to air it one so if we all keep our fingers crossed maybe they can find another network. I think they were also going to try to keep it on line so we can at least watch it that way.

Yes, Passion is being canceled but it also I heard that Price is Right, All My Children and TRL is getting canceled.

Its not true, but Passions did get canceled, I heard that Days is also going to be gone as well.
