No matter what anyone says, there is no one size fits all definition of cheating. However, it would seem very disrespectful for him to conduct his life in a way that degrades you and make you feel second rate. Don't give him permission to do this, but don't go overboard and assume he is an awful and promiscuous man. When I originally bought my computer, I began clicking and found myself in chat rooms and message boards and before I knew it I was participating in chats and stuff that made me think I was in the twilight zone. The internet is anonymous, funny things can happen with a few clicks of the mouse, but he should stop now because it isn't the proper way for a man to treat his lady.

I used to think definitely yes but now I am not so sure.
I have recently chatted with women and have their pics but I have no intention of cheating or carrying on.
The internet is a weird animal because you can live out various fantasy personas without ever acting on them.
So I guess my answer is it is all an individual case.
Some men look to the internet to plan an affair. Other men just use it as a fantasy outlet much like porn or books.
For you what would be important is the content of the discussions. It is one thing to talk openly about sex between adults. it is another thing to explain how your spouse does not fulfill you and you are looking for something more.

What if you were the one chatting online with guys and have their pictures downloaded? How do you think your husband will react? Exactly.....I think that it's not cheating, but will lead to it. It shows that there is a problem within your marriage. If you don't take action now, he will continue and find a way to meet these online women. Ask him if there isn't another way for him to spend his time instead of being online. He can do more realistic stuff, like...spending quality time with you and your children, if any.

Well sometimes i chat with other men online and i dont see chatting as cheating and my husband has no problem with this cause we have been happily married 16 yrs and he has NO problem with this cause he has NO reason not to trust me cause i just chat cause i like it NOT cause im looking to cheat. As for your husband downloading other women's pictures that is TOTALLY WRONG for him to do. By the way i chat with men and women and NO i dont have, need or want pictures of other men.

It is cheating. They are getting to know this person and sharing story's and enjoying each other. Its just like your husband went out for coffee with a girl and got to know her. Wouldn't you feel like that was cheating. Getting to know someone on line or in person who is of the opposite sex is cheating. Unless you and your husband are making friends together on-line. If he says they are just friends you join in on the chats and the emails.

It depends on what they are chatting about. If they are flirting, then maybe. An affair of the heart, whether real or imagined, is more dangerous than your husband picking up a bimbo in a bar for a one night stand.

It's emotional cheating whether it's pictures or chatting online with other women and flirting with them. If it's just pics it is emotional cheating and is somewhat unsatisfied with your sexual relationship and if it's chatting with other women that is not only emotional cheating and is very unsatisfied with your sexual relationship he is planning on cheating.

I don't know if it's "cheating" or not, but mighty close to it. Do you know what they "chat" about? I would be concernd bout cheating-is he taking off at times, gone for awhile? Then, yes, he could be cheating-meeting them somewhere. Please have a serious talk (no yelling-talk) with him to find out what is going on-why is he doing this? Etc. Take care.

Is it cheating when your hubby wants to make love to you and you say "no"?
No sane man alive would rather chat online and exchange pictures of who know what than to have real life mind blowing sex with the woman he loves. PERIOD.

To lust after another woman/man you have already committed adultery with that person in your heart. there's physical adultery and then there's emotional adultery. Most women commit emotional adultery before committing physical adultery, because women are stimulated by the mind. Most men are stimulated by what they see
