I spaned my rist the other day how long do you link it will take for it to heel?

I sprained my wrist a little over a week ago, and I am still having pain. What really makes it feel better is wearing a wrist brace on it, and trying to keep in above heart level. My doctor said that because of the usage of the wrist, it can take weeks for a sprained wrist to heal. The wrist brace helps restrict the range of movement in the wrist. Hopefully you didn't get unlucky like me and get the sprain in your dominant wrist (your writing hand), because that can take longer to heal. Good luck!

it depends on the severity of the sprained wrist. if its not that severe it should only take anywhere from 10-14 days. if it's more severe than that it will take longer. you might want to go to a doctor to determine if its a grade 1, 2, or 3 sprain.

I don't know anything about sprained wrists, but I've had plenty of experience with sprained ankles! Actually a sprain is worse than a break! So it may take a few weeks for your wrist to feel better! I know when I had all my sprained ankles that's about how long it took me to get better! Good luck to you...

I have sprained my wirst before...it took about a week for it to heal but i had it wrapped and everything. Put ice on it and use ACE bandage to help it. My arm healed fast but i know that my ankle sprain has stuck for about four years. :P
